When are you open?

That varies from season to season. We’re normally open year round, but hours vary

with the availability of the crops! Strawberries, Christmas Trees and Pumpkins are seasonal. Hay is usually available year-round, but demand is very high, so call first! Of course our Farm House is available year-round.

When will you have Christmas trees?

Fresh cut trees are available after Thanksgiving. Choose & Cut trees are grown in Chatham County.  We are open Monday – Thursday, noon to 5:00pm; Friday, noon – 7pm; Saturday, 9:00am to 7:00pm; Sunday, 10:00 to 5:00pm.  Please call 919-616-4890 if you would like to set up an appointment for another time.   

When will you have Pumpkins?

Pumpkins are available mid September through the end of October.  We also have corn stalks, mums, decorative gourds, Indian Corn, and hay bales.

When will you have strawberries?

Start looking for our field opening in late April or early May. We post signs in Pittsboro when we open the field also. Pre-picked berries will be available at our Chatham County location on Hanks Chapel Road, Pittsboro.  Prepicked strawberries are also available at Howard’s Peach Orchard, 7393 Hwy 64W, Pittsboro, between Pittsboro and Siler City. Pick-your-own strawberries are available most days, but times vary due to crop availability and weather.

When will you have Hay?

Hay is available year-round, but demand is high. We have hay bales and hay rolls.

When can we stay at the Farm House?

Our 1890 farmhouse is available year-round. It was renovated in 2018, and is now ready for you to come visit. It is located in beautiful, rural Chatham County. This is a working farm with Christmas trees, cattle, and hay production. With 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths, the house can sleep 8.
